Intraoral Press books now also on Kindle in France
I'm so pleased to see that I've found so many new readers by having the Dr.Wrighting books available on Kindle. Almost all of them are in the US - I guess Kindle hasn't taken off as much in Europe yet - but now the books are also available in France on Kindle, at Amazon.fr. Maybe a lot of French people want to read them??? I hope so.

Dr.Wrighting +1s
So Dr.Wrighting is now on Google's +1! I don't know how much she will post or whether she'll have big circles, but I think it's good that she is trying this.
Thank you to all of you who have been buying the books! The ebook and Kindle format seems to be a lot more popular with readers, so I'm glad I have made the books available like that. I hope you're enjoying them!
There are no customer reviews anywhere yet - I wonder when or if those will start appearing. They might be useful for other people who might be interested in the books, so I do hope some come. But I'm a bit scared to hear what people think too - though I try to find constructive stuff in all criticism!
And more books are on the way. Not too soon, maybe, but they're coming along pretty well.

I hope more people get to read it this way, and that they like it!

Madison's Braces
See yesterday's post for information about my new Dr.Samantha Wrighting short. I've now also added a Madison's Braces page at the Intraoral Press site.
Remember, it's only available as an eBook! It should be available on Kindle soon, but you can already get a copy at Lulu.
I hope you like it and that you'll let me know what you think about it.

New eBook!!!!
Yes! A new Dr.Samantha Wrighting short is available! (It's available on Lulu (here!) and should be available on Kindle in a few days.) It's a "short", so it's only available as an eBook (I'm going to collect the shorts in a print edition too, after the next one is published).
What is it called?
Madison's Braces
What's it about?
When she's in fifth grade more and more of Madison's classmates get braces - and she finds out she will need them as well. But Madison sees what happens to kids with braces, and how they are treated, and she decides she wants to use that to her advantage: she wants to wait until she's fifteen until she gets them, hoping they'll help ward off the pressures of fitting in and looking pretty and playing dumb for the boys. If she has braces then, she thinks she'll be able to avoid falling for all of that, and can concentrate on her studies instead. Will her parents go along with her plan? Will her orthodontist, Dr.Wrighting? And what's it like having braces in high school? Read about Madison's orthodontic journey, in the Dr.Samatha Wrighting short, Madison's Braces.
How short a short is it?
It's a long one! About 90 pages and 35,000 words!
How much does it cost?
Only $3.49! And that's what the Kindle version will cost too.
Who is it suitable for?
This is one of the Dr.Samantha Wrighting books that's really about what it's like having braces, so this is suitable for general audiences. But like all the Dr.Samantha Wrighting books, remember that it's "a work of fiction and for entertainment purposes some aspects of orthodontic treatment and wear are exaggerated and the characters' experiences should not be considered representative".
I hope you like it!
I'll be posting more information soon! I haven't even had time to put up a page for the book at the Intraoral Press website, but I wanted you to know that the new book is available. And there's another "short", and another "Erotic Orthodontic Encounter" that should be finished soon too!

July update
I'm glad I decided to make the books available on Kindle. People really seem to like that - at least in the US. I guess Kindle isn't that big elsewhere yet.... No reviews at Amazon yet but I hope people like what they're reading!
I am working on more. I know I should concentrate on one project but I have a few different ideas I am working on. I hope that I can publish more soon.

Get Headgeared!
You can now get Headgeared!
This is the first Dr.Samantha Wrighting short, bite-size introductions to the offices and patients of Dr.Wrighting, available exclusively as ebooks and on Kindle.
Headgeared is a short, intense account of facing getting orthodontic headgear.
The orthodontist puts the facebow on the tray in front of the patient. "I stared at it. I realized that my whole life was going to change in the next few minutes."
There's getting braces, and then there's getting headgear on top of the braces. Headgeared is one girl's short story about the day that changed everything.
It's only 34 pages long (12,000 words) - but it's also cheap: $1.99 on Lulu, and $.99 on Kindle. I hope this is a good way to let readers sample the world of Dr.Wrighting, and then maybe they'll take a look at the other books!
It's now available at Lulu, and on Kindle at Amazon in the US, the UK and even in Germany.
I hope readers like it!

Books on German Kindle
Jetzt als Download verfügbar! All the Intraoral Press books are now also available on Kindle in Germany. I guess they weren't before. I don't know how big the audience of English reading German Kindle users is, but maybe there are some who are interested in the books. So far there haven't been too many Kindle downloads in the US either, but I hope the books will catch on!

Weekly update
The print edition of The Braced Tease should be available on Amazon soon. I'm surprised that the e-book version is so popular, though no one has bought it on Kindle yet. I guess lots of readers like the downloadable version.
I hope readers are enjoying it (and all the other IoPress books!).
I am also working on a bigger project that I have been working on for a while but that I put aside for a long time. It's a really big novel, but I really like it.

Announcing "The Braced Tease"
There's a new short book out, The Braced Tease! It's not *officially* out yet - I still have to get a copy of the printed version to see that it looks ok - but the digital versions are definitely ok, and you can get it at:
Lulu: in print or download
On Kindle (UK)
This is another short book (80 pages, 27,000 words), and it is both An Erotic Orthodontic Encounter and A Dr. Samantha Wrighting novel.
It is less explicit than Notwithstanding Braces because I tried something different here. First of all, it's the first time I really have a boy as the main figure. Carl isn't even thirteen yet but he gets braces, and what the book explores is all the inner turmoil that goes on in boys that age, which is compounded by his getting braces. Of course only having had two daughters I'm not sure whether I got that totally right, but I let my imagination run a bit wild. Because he's so young and because he has braces there's no real sex of course, but the centerpiece of the book is an erotic orthodontic encounter which I hope captures all the feelings and urges and confusion of being that age and having braces. (It definitely is only for mature audiences, I think.)
I listened to some of the comments about Notwithstanding Braces and tried to develop the character of Carl better, building up to his getting braces and then the erotic encounter. I think it works as a complete story, but it's also only the beginning of his braces journey, and I hope readers will let me know if they want to hear more stories from Carl's journey.
I'll announce it when the book is *officially* published, but maybe you already want to read it....
