Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my readers !

And I'm glad the Intraoral Press books were popular over Christmas and I hope everyone enjoyed them!

I'm still working on the new novel. Not sure when it will be finished, but I hope soon.

Looking forward to a great 2015!

November update

I feel bad that I still haven't finished the new book. Somehow a thousand small and big things are always getting in the way. Well you know. Life. But I'm still working on it and I will find the time! Just not sure how soon.

New readers

It's really nice to see that readership of the Dr.Wrighting books has picked up recently. There's usually a lot of interest when a new title comes out, but then things slow down, but this summer a lot of readers seem to be picking up the books. I hope you're enjoying them!

The new one is really coming together and with some vacation time maybe I'll come close to finishing it soon. (But vacations tend to be busy too, don't they? And full of unexpected distractions and obligations.) I think it's a pretty special book - but it is going to be long too. The longest of all the Dr.Wrighting books. Sometimes I worry that it'll be too much - but my readers can never get enough of braces, right?

Other braces books

I'm still working on my latest book and I really like how it's going. I hope I can share it with you soon. But I'm glad to see other people are writing books that involve braces too, and a new one just came out: F.N.Brown's The Illumination of Frances Harmon, which has a nice site and which you can get on Kindle at the American Amazon, or Amazon in the UK.

I've just read the sample text at Amazon and this sounds a lot different from what I have been doing, but I'm sure some of my readers will be interested in this too.

And what a great idea to have that book trailer!

I haven't come across any other new books in which braces play a big role recently, but I'm always looking!

Almost summer

Memorial Day means it's almost summer, even if we don't get to really celebrate that here. But it is one of those bank holidays here too, so we sort of get to pretend....

Time flies so crazily. I can't believe it's been so long since I posted anything. For a long time I wasn't making much progress on the new book either, but now it's going really well. But the book has also gotten bigger and more ambitious than originally planned, so it's taking longer too. But I am convinced this will be a summer book - that you'll get to read it while it's really hot outside. There is always stuff that gets in the way of completing it, but I don't think there are too many obstacles left ahead of me!

Thanks for being patient!

Fan Mail

I love hearing stuff like this! A new reader writes that her roommate gave her Retainer Girl for Christmas as a joke – a college freshman, she still wears her retainers at night. Now she writes to say how much she liked it and that she’s already moved on to Love and Braces - and that she wishes she’d discovered these when she had braces! I know not all the books are appropriate for kids with braces but I think a lot of them are right for more mature teens and it’s great to hear from readers who get something out of them like this one is!

Have some Bracing Daydreams!

Yes, the new book is here! Bracing Daydreams! Currently it's only available as an ebook, which you can get in the ePub format at Lulu or on Kindle at any of the Amazons - like the US Amazon, the UK Amazon, the German Amazon.

It's about 113 pages long (43,000 words) and the way I describe it is:

Like so many girls, Pamela's daughter Emma had braces - reminding Pamela of her own braced years, and inspiring her with visions of both what the experience was actually like and what it could have been. Alternating between Pamela's account of her daughter's experiences and the daydreams she has of reliving it herself, much more intensely, Bracing Daydreams captures so much of what it's like to be a girl with braces.
Because of some mature and complex content, Bracing Daydreams may not be appropriate for younger readers or those who have not yet undergone orthodontic treatment.
This is another book about the experience of having braces - and since there's some fantasy and since it's Dr.Wrighting some of it is more extreme than the usual orthodontic experience.  Not very much sex (I know some of you want more of that...) but I think it's a pretty sensual book. (And don't worry, another Erotic Orthodontic Encounter is coming!)

For now it's only available as an ebook because it is part of a bigger project - but I might package it with the other 'shorts' for a print edition before I finish that. (But not many of you buy the print editions, so I guess there's no rush.)

I hope you like it!

New year countdown

I hope all my readers had a great Christmas and New Years! Mine were great - in part thanks to you too, because the Intraoral Press books did really well over the holidays season. Lots of new readers! Welcome, and I hope you enjoyed the books! (And I hope some of you review them too, at Amazon or Goodreads and so on....)

Anyway, I wanted to let you all know that the new book is on its way. There are a few more finishing touches and editing and formatting to do, but Bracing Daydreams should be available soon.

I'm also excited because there's more coming. The Bracing Daydreams project is a slightly larger one, and you'll see what that means soon, and beyond that I am already working on the next Dr.Wrighting book - and it's for the Erotic Orthodontic Encounters series! You haven't gotten one of those in a while, and I really like the idea I've come up for it.

I hope you're looking forward to all this, and that you continue to enjoy my books throughout 2014!
