Brooke in Braces as iBook!

Like I just told you in my last post, I really think Brooke in Braces is worth getting as a print book — like you now can (at Amazon and so on). But I know a lot of you do prefer to read ebooks....

So great news: not only is Brooke in Braces available on Kindle, but now it's also available as an iBook/on iTunes, which I know some of you prefer!

Whichever way you read it, I hope you enjoy it!

Brooke in Braces in paperback!

I finally got to see the paperback edition of Brooke in Braces and I really love the way it looks! I know most Intraoral Press readers like the ebook versions, but I think this is one that is really worth having in print. Especially for its intended audience of tweens and teens getting or dealing with braces!

Brooke in Braces was already available in paperback from Lulu, but now it is also available through regular outlets. You can probably even already get your local bookstore to order it but Amazon has got you covered too, in the US, the UK, and Germany and everywhere else!

I hope you'll consider getting it for that special girl who is dealing with getting or having braces! (I hope boys like it too, but I have to admit that, beginning with the cover, it really is a girly book....)

What characters from the Dr.Samantha Wrighting novels have to say about "Brooke in Braces"

What characters from the Dr.Samantha Wrighting novels have to say about Brooke in Braces:

“Brooke bares her braces and her soul in this book, and it is this forthrightness as she faces up to her fears, concerns and simple day to day life in braces that makes this such a great story for anyone who has or is getting braces. I will certainly recommend this wonderful book to my patients to help them on their own braced journeys.”

– Dr.Allegretta , braces counselor and therapist

“I love this book! Even though I see kids getting braces every day in my mother’s practice, and even though I have lots of friends who have them, it often feels like such a solitary experience, even to me. Brooke really shares her experiences, and I love reading about them and comparing them to my own.”

– Natalie Wrighting, Dr.Wrighting’s braced daughter

“Where was Brooke in Braces when I had braces? This is exactly the book I wanted and needed to get me through my own braced years.”

– Lauren, from Retainer Girl

“Among my favorite mother-daughter memories is the one of reading Brooke in Braces with Emma as she was undergoing her own orthodontic treatment. It made it so much easier to talk about what she was going through, and we both learnt a lot about ourselves and each other in the process. Brooke’s experiences weren’t as adventurous or dramatic as those of some of the heroines in other books we read, but we could really relate to her. Even now, she is one of the characters who is dearest to our hearts, and the book one that we continue to cherish.”

– Pamela, from Bracing Daydreams

“A teenage girl going on for 300 pages about having braces? But I couldn’t get enough. Finally, a book that tells it like it is!”

– Cecilia St.Winthropson,
from Bracing Times with Cecilia

New book: Brooke in Braces

Yes, it's here! My new book, Brooke in Braces.

This is a bit different than the usual Dr.Samantha Wrighting novels. It's aimed at a younger audience, of kids who are getting braces or who have them. It tells their story, of what they can expect and what they go through — by having Brooke Dilston tell her story. It is: A very personal history of one girl's life & times & experiences with braces. And I hope it helps other kids with their experiences in braces..

This is a YA title. It even features a different orthodontist, since let's face it, Dr.Wrighting and the Dr.Wrighting experience are a bit intense....

It's already available in print from Lulu and should be available on Amazon and at other retailers in a few weeks. I'll let you know when.

It is also already available on Kindle, and as an e-book from Lulu, with the iBook and Nook and all the other platforms also hopefully available soon.

I know most readers prefer the Intraoral Press books as e-books, but I think this is one that parents and kids might really like to have as a printed book, to read again and again as they go through this journey of their own.
