Braced in Wedlock paperback now also on Amazon

I know most readers prefer the Kindle or e-book version, but the paperback of Braced in Wedlock is now also available at Amazon, so if you want a nice printed copy of it.... (It doesn't seem to be available at other retailers like Barnes & Noble yet, but it should be soon. And for now the paperback is weirdly expensive at the foreign Amazons, but I think that pricing will change - and you can always get it at Lulu too.)

No matter what way you read it or where you buy it, I hope you enjoy it!

Have you gotten...Braced in Wedlock yet?

I'm so excited to see that a lot of you have already got Braced in Wedlock! I hope you're enjoying it as much as I enjoyed writing it. I know it's a big book, but I think it's a grand story that deserves all that space. More braces-pleasure on more braced pages too, right?

For a long time the title I had for it was For Better, For Worse, In Braces. I liked that, but I think Braced in Wedlock is better. The wed-lock is so appropriate!

The whole story was a fun thought experiment. This crazy what if? I like books that do that, and I thought this was a really interesting idea to explore. I know a lot of you would probably prefer it if it were just about the sex, but I think the book is more intriguing when it's not that simple and Walter's demand can't be reduced to just that.

I really hope you like it - and that new readers find their way to the whole big Dr.Wrighting library through it. More than a dozen books on braces already!

And if you haven't gotten your copy yet I hope you rush ot and get it. (Well actually, all you need to do is download it to your Kindle - it's available at all the Amazons! US, UK, Canada, Germany, Netherlands, and everywhere else - or get the ePub at Lulu!)

The new book is HERE!!!!!

I know it's been a long time - but it turned out to be a really long book. Over 340 pages! And it is finally done and published and available and I hope you find it was worth the wait!

It's called Braced in Wedlock.

The way I describe it is:
Walter is the man of Lauren’s dreams. They fall passionately in love and nothing stands in the way of a happy life together – except for the one demand Walter has. He insists that the woman he will spend the rest of his life with get braces. And that she remain braced, evermore.

Is he asking too much? Is he asking the impossible? Lauren reacts like anyone would – the idea is ridiculous! – but Walter won’t budge. Who will give in? Or was their love simply not meant to be? What would it mean to face a life sentence of braces?

Lauren faces the biggest decisions of her life. Will she ultimately find herself Braced in Wedlock? Could she take that terrifying step? And if she does, what are the consequences?

Walter enlists Dr.Samantha Wrighting and her enthusiastically braced daughter, Natalie, to help guide the love of his life through this process – but it’s still so incredibly much to ask of anyone. Can love and braces possibly triumph?
Originally I thought this was going to be another Erotic Orthodontic Encounter-book but it really became more of a novel about getting and having braces - a typical Dr.Samantha Wrighting Novel. Of course there is some sex but there's a whole lot more to it as well. I really liked the idea behind it and it was so much fun to explore it with these characters. Especially since Dr.Wrighting and Natalie also play big roles.

Anyway, you can already buy it on Kindle (in the UK and Germany and everywhere else too), and you can get it as an ePub from Lulu (and soon elsewhere too). There's also a print edition available from Lulu (coming to Amazon soon) - but almost all my readers seem to prefer e-books (and it is more expensive), so that's probably only for the collectors and die hard fans!

I hope you like it - and I hope you'll let me know what you think.

Fashionable braces!

A braced cover girl!

Is the fashion world embracing the braced look? The Daily Mail covers the story. It's a teenage dream! Braces become spring's newest trend as fashion industry casts models with mouths full of metal.

I'm not so sure about some of these examples but there's lots of potential here, right?

And I wonder whether fashion fans - and models like Kitty Hayes! - will pick up some of my books. There are so many Dr. Samantha Wrighting books, so much orthodontic fiction to choose from! I hope they choose some....

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope all my readers have a happy Valentine's Day - with a braces theme or without (though I hope at least some of my books wind up being given as Valentine's Day treats!).

The big new novel is coming along well and I think you'll like it. I'm just sorry that it's taking so long! But I hope it will be worth the wait for you. It is pretty special.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my readers !

And I'm glad the Intraoral Press books were popular over Christmas and I hope everyone enjoyed them!

I'm still working on the new novel. Not sure when it will be finished, but I hope soon.

Looking forward to a great 2015!

November update

I feel bad that I still haven't finished the new book. Somehow a thousand small and big things are always getting in the way. Well you know. Life. But I'm still working on it and I will find the time! Just not sure how soon.

New readers

It's really nice to see that readership of the Dr.Wrighting books has picked up recently. There's usually a lot of interest when a new title comes out, but then things slow down, but this summer a lot of readers seem to be picking up the books. I hope you're enjoying them!

The new one is really coming together and with some vacation time maybe I'll come close to finishing it soon. (But vacations tend to be busy too, don't they? And full of unexpected distractions and obligations.) I think it's a pretty special book - but it is going to be long too. The longest of all the Dr.Wrighting books. Sometimes I worry that it'll be too much - but my readers can never get enough of braces, right?

Other braces books

I'm still working on my latest book and I really like how it's going. I hope I can share it with you soon. But I'm glad to see other people are writing books that involve braces too, and a new one just came out: F.N.Brown's The Illumination of Frances Harmon, which has a nice site and which you can get on Kindle at the American Amazon, or Amazon in the UK.

I've just read the sample text at Amazon and this sounds a lot different from what I have been doing, but I'm sure some of my readers will be interested in this too.

And what a great idea to have that book trailer!

I haven't come across any other new books in which braces play a big role recently, but I'm always looking!

Almost summer

Memorial Day means it's almost summer, even if we don't get to really celebrate that here. But it is one of those bank holidays here too, so we sort of get to pretend....

Time flies so crazily. I can't believe it's been so long since I posted anything. For a long time I wasn't making much progress on the new book either, but now it's going really well. But the book has also gotten bigger and more ambitious than originally planned, so it's taking longer too. But I am convinced this will be a summer book - that you'll get to read it while it's really hot outside. There is always stuff that gets in the way of completing it, but I don't think there are too many obstacles left ahead of me!

Thanks for being patient!
